Welcome to the Inverness and District Model Railway Club's Website

We are a small, friendly club based in Inverness. Our interests are wide and varied, with members modeling in N, 00, EM, 0, 014, 016.5, Gauge 1 and G Scale. We hold our annual show in September here in Inverness. Currently we have 4 club layouts and a number of members own layouts that are available for exhibiting. Our new 0 gauge project - Castle Morris is now under way - Our 00 gauge layout, Maltby has had an extension built to allow it to be used with one of our members layouts and an industrial area is being built at the other end. We have an N gauge layout based on modern Scottish practice, and a large American N gauge layout set somewhere in Montana.

We are members of the AMRSS and are looking to recruit new members to help with our projects. We have successfully exhibited at ModelRail Scotland since 2009 with our layouts Salzburg MT, Mountain View, Rockfield Road and Cotesby. 2013 will see the return of the refurbished Saltzburg MT.
